Christy Yates

Christy Yates, a licensed educational psychologist (LEP) with a Master's degree, is dedicated to offering comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for both children and adults. She specializes in providing coaching services to parents, particularly those in the Sandwich Generation who are balancing the demands of raising children and caring for aging parents. In addition to her coaching services, Christy conducts educational workshops for schools and organizations on a range of critical topics including motivation, building resilience, and self-care for teachers and caregivers. With over 15 years of experience in special education as a teacher and school psychologist, Christy has worked with individuals from preschool age through to college students and adults returning to education. She incorporates extensive research in mindfulness practices, mind-body solutions, and cognitive-behavioral therapy into her coaching for parents and caregivers. Christy is committed to assisting adults, parent learners, and Sandwich Generation parents by providing insightful assessments and empowering coaching strategies to help navigate life's complexities with greater clarity and effectiveness.
