Pima Meals on Wheels

Pima Meals on Wheels, located in Sells, AZ, is dedicated to ensuring that homebound seniors and their spouses receive the nutritious meals they need to thrive. Our program delivers one-third of their daily food requirements, expertly prepared with low-fat, low-sodium, low-sugar, and high-fiber ingredients to support healthy living. Each meal includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, and entrees, crafted to meet dietary needs. We offer a warm, compassionate service where seniors can easily determine eligibility through an initial phone screening. Following this, we coordinate an in-home evaluation by a local agency to explain the program details and arrange meal deliveries straight to the home. While we request a donation of $2.00 per meal, we ensure that no one is turned away due to financial constraints. To maintain the integrity of our service, it’s essential for participants to be home during delivery or to notify the program manager in advance.
