MOVE! Weight Management Program

In Payson, AZ, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and referred to tailored weight management services that align with their unique needs. We offer a variety of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to guide them on their journey to better health. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not achieved their goals through standard interventions.
