Carolyn Winson understands that life can present various challenges that require support to overcome. She is devoted to helping others learn how to weather the storms that life may bring. With extensive experience in assisting individuals who struggle with mental health issues and developmental disabilities, as well as those dealing with trauma and other life complications, Carolyn has worked with children, teens, young adults, and families. Her goal as a therapist is to empower clients with alternative strategies for managing life’s varied situations. Although difficult circumstances cannot be changed, Carolyn collaborates with clients to better understand and resolve their challenges. By employing complementary therapy approaches and techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and yoga, she facilitates a healing process that addresses past issues while equipping clients with new ways to manage stress.
