MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, situated in Apache Junction, AZ, is dedicated to empowering Veterans to achieve their health goals through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and connected to appropriate weight management services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a range of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after engaging with MOVE!.
