MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Tuscumbia, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to support Veterans by annually screening those who receive care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them with tailored weight management services. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient, in-home support. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, as well as medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight challenges.
