MOVE! Weight Management Program based in Selma, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life for Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission focuses on annually screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, connecting them to essential weight management services tailored to their unique needs and preferences. Participants can benefit from a range of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-guided approach. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges, we also offer weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery.
