MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Russellville, AL, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran who visits VA facilities for obesity annually and to connect them with tailored weight management services that suit their individual preferences and health needs. MOVE! offers a variety of care options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that facilitates in-home support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to track their progress independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need further assistance after initial intervention.
