Melissa Hunt provides compassionate psychotherapy, consultation, and diagnostic evaluation both in-person and through telehealth services for children, teens, adults, and families. With a passion for guiding individuals through life's challenges and transitions, Melissa is particularly skilled in supporting those grappling with pronounced psychological struggles, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, self-harm, and identity development. Additionally, she assists parents and families in fostering understanding and improving communication during life changes and relationship stresses. Licensed to practice in Virginia, Alabama, and Arkansas, Melissa possesses specialized training and extensive experience working with children, teens, families, and college-aged clients, including those who have endured significant trauma. Understanding that seeking help for emotional and psychological difficulties can feel daunting, Melissa strives to create a non-judgmental and safe environment, recognizing the courage it takes to reach out for support.
