The MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Moulton, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity on an annual basis, connecting them with personalized support and various treatment options that align with their needs and preferences. Participants can engage in diverse weight management activities, such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! platform, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, weight loss medications and bariatric surgery are available for individuals who continue to face challenges after utilizing MOVE! services.
