Family Assistance Program

Located in Mc Calla, AL, the Family Assistance Program is dedicated to providing crucial temporary cash assistance to low-income families with children under 18 years old or under 19 if they are full-time students in secondary or vocational training. Our mission is to support families facing financial hardship by offering essential resources for basic needs, ensuring that every child has the opportunity for a stable upbringing. We encourage those in need to apply through the Department of Human Resources in their respective counties, with the understanding that assistance is available for a maximum of five years per adult in their lifetime.
