MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Hamilton, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to address obesity by annually screening every Veteran in our care, providing tailored referrals to suitable weight management services, and offering a range of treatment options tailored to individual needs and preferences. Veterans can participate in supportive group sessions, receive personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, or access our innovative TeleMOVE! services, which include in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require further support after utilizing our MOVE! services. To embark on a journey toward better health, we encourage interested Veterans to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider.
