MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Foley, AL is a compassionate initiative dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Veterans struggling with obesity. Our mission centers on systematically screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for weight-related issues and providing tailored referrals to comprehensive weight management services. We offer a variety of support options including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home care, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. For Veterans who need additional assistance, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options. Our goal is to empower Veterans on their journey to better health, with accessible resources that meet their individual needs. To join the MOVE! program, Veterans are encouraged to speak with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider.
