Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry

At CORE, based in Bessemer, AL, we are dedicated to uplifting food and beverage service employees facing financial challenges due to illnesses or medical emergencies. We understand the unique struggles families in the restaurant industry encounter, and our mission is to provide timely financial assistance to help alleviate those burdens. Our support extends to necessary expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills, therapy, and even childcare needs like diapers and formula. We also recognize the urgent need for help with travel and food costs associated with hospital visits. While we have a lifetime assistance cap of $7,500 for our grant recipients, we encourage those who have previously received aid to reach out again after 12 months to explore eligibility for continued support. Together, we strive to offer care and practical solutions to help families navigate their toughest times.
