Kerry Baharanyi

Kerry Baharanyi is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a rich background in clinical social work, social casework, and social work administration. Since 2008, Kerry has dedicated her career to addressing important issues such as partner violence and chronic illnesses, including HIV, HCV, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular diseases. As a practitioner, Kerry is committed to fostering a brave environment where every individual’s dignity and self-determination are respected. She believes that everyone is the expert in their life and collaborates with her clients to remind them that they matter and possess the power to transform their lives. In the therapeutic alliance, Kerry equips individuals with the tools to make informed decisions through Solution-Focused Therapy and helps them understand how their thought patterns and self-labels can hinder personal growth. As a Coactive Coach, Kerry is passionate about invoking transformation and celebrating greatness within her clients. With a deep commitment to cultural competence, she speaks English, French, and Swahili fluently, and is currently learning Spanish. Kerry believes in the resilience of individuals, acknowledging that life crises, discrimination, and health challenges can sometimes impede the journey towards reaching one’s full potential.
