MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Attalla, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our program prioritizes the needs of Veterans by conducting annual screenings for obesity at VA facilities, offering tailored referrals to weight management services, and providing versatile treatment options that suit individual lifestyles and preferences. We facilitate various weight management avenues, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! system for in-home guidance. Additionally, for those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. For Veterans whose struggles persist despite participating in MOVE!, we also offer medical solutions, including weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
