MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Togiak, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Focused on fighting obesity, we aim to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities annually and connect them to tailored weight management options that suit their unique needs and preferences. Our program offers a variety of resources, including supportive group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! system for in-home messaging with clinicians. For those who prefer self-guided solutions, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight challenges.
