Elders Program

The Elders Program in Noorvik, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors through a variety of essential services tailored to meet their basic needs. Our mission revolves around ensuring that every elder enjoys a high quality of life and has access to the support they deserve. We offer caregiver training, case management, durable medical equipment, and Consumer Directed Personal Care Assistant (PCA) services to empower loved ones in their caregiving roles. Our program also provides respite services, fall and injury prevention education, as well as assistance with Medicare and Medicaid navigation. With initiatives like the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), monthly food boxes, social teas, and potlucks, we foster community engagement and connection among seniors. Additionally, we offer elder transportation services in the Anchorage area, advocacy, resource assistance, and specialized training programs like Gatekeeper Training and Older Adult Mental Health First Aid. We believe in uplifting our elders, ensuring they remain active and supported in our community.
