MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in New Stuyahok, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care through VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and connected to tailored weight management solutions that best fit their individual needs. We offer a variety of options including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after utilizing our primary services. To take the first step towards better health, Veterans can consult their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to learn how to participate in our program.
