Elders Program

The Elders Program in Mountain Village, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our senior community by providing comprehensive support and essential services tailored to their unique needs. We offer a range of invaluable resources, including caregiver training, case management, and the provision of durable medical equipment to ensure seniors receive the care they deserve. Our consumer-directed personal care assistant (PCA) services empower seniors to maintain independence, while our respite services provide relief for caregivers. We prioritize safety with fall and injury prevention education and offer assistance with Medicare and Medicaid navigation. Our program also fosters community connections through initiatives like the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), monthly food boxes, and social events such as elder teas and potlucks. Additional services include transportation assistance within the Anchorage area, elder advocacy, resource access support, and specialized training to support mental health and safety. We are here to promote health, dignity, and engagement for our beloved seniors.
