Elders Program

Located in Juneau, AK, the Elders Program at APIA is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our senior community members through essential support services and resources. We offer a range of vital programs including caregiver training, case management, durable medical equipment, personal care assistant services, and respite care. Our commitment to health and wellness extends to fall and injury prevention education, Medicare and Medicaid assistance, and advocacy support. Additionally, we foster community connections with our Retired Senior Volunteer Program, monthly elder food boxes, and engaging events like elder teas and potlucks. We also provide transportation services within the Anchorage area and various training programs such as Gatekeeper Training and Older Adult Mental Health First Aid. Our mission is to empower seniors to thrive and remain active members of their community.
