Selma Schimmel Vital Grant

The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, located in Homer, AK, is dedicated to providing essential support to individuals grappling with significant financial challenges stemming from chronic, terminal, or rare medical conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease. Through our grant program, we offer critical assistance with utilities and groceries to help alleviate some of the burdens that come with managing these conditions. While our funding will provide for either utility assistance or grocery assistance, we are committed to working alongside various partners to connect recipients with additional resources and support options that may be available.
