Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry

Based in Homer, AK, CORE is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees who face financial hardships due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to provide critical financial assistance to families by covering essential expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, therapy, and even childcare costs for young children. We understand the challenges that come with unexpected medical situations and aim to alleviate some of that burden by offering up to $7,500 in support over a lifetime, ensuring that families can focus on recovery and care during difficult times. Former grant recipients can apply again after a 12-month period for either the same or a new qualifying condition. At CORE, we believe that every family deserves support, especially during their most challenging moments.
