Elders Program

Located in Homer, AK, the Elders Program by APIA is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our senior community by providing essential support services and resources that cater to their unique needs. Through our commitment to caring for our elders, we offer a range of services including caregiver training, case management, and durable medical equipment assistance. Our program also features vital services such as personal care assistance, respite support, and fall prevention education. We strive to empower seniors with Medicare and Medicaid assistance and encourage engagement through initiatives like our Retired Senior Volunteer Program and monthly elder food boxes. We cultivate community connection with events like elder teas and potlucks, alongside providing transportation services in the Anchorage area. With a focus on advocacy and mental health awareness, our program ensures that seniors receive comprehensive resource assistance and support to live fulfilling lives.
