MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Healy, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to systematically screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, provide personalized referrals to weight management resources, and offer a variety of treatment options that align with individual needs and preferences. Participants in MOVE! can engage in diverse programs such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for convenient at-home support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
