MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Gambell, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management solutions. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and receives personalized referrals to a range of weight management services tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support, along with the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For those pursuing more comprehensive interventions, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after appropriate evaluation.
