MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Fort Yukon, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them with personalized treatment options, whether it's participating in group sessions, accessing telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilizing our innovative TeleMOVE! in-home messaging system. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, and we also offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require additional support. We believe in empowering our Veterans to take charge of their health through varied and supportive weight management services tailored to their unique needs.
