MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Emmonak, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and nutrition. We prioritize individualized care by annually screening each Veteran who seeks support at our VA facilities for obesity and linking them to tailored weight management services that suit their unique needs and preferences. Our program offers a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! system for in-home support. Additionally, Veterans can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management, or access medical options such as Weight Loss Medications and Bariatric Surgery if they continue to face challenges after participation in MOVE!.
