Mary Snider

Mary Snider is the compassionate founder of Eagle River Counseling, LLC, established in 2015. With a wealth of experience garnered in a variety of settings across Missouri, Colorado, and North Carolina, she has worked with diverse populations in adolescent residential care, adult inpatient facilities, in-home therapy, day treatment classrooms, and private practices. Mary truly enjoys supporting individuals of all ages, specializing in areas such as depression, anxiety, high emotional reactivity, behavior problems, divorce, custody issues, and life transitions. For custody situations, she is expertly trained in supervised access programs, coparent facilitation, parental alienation, parenting coordination, civil and family mediation, and alternative dispute resolution, as well as addressing family violence. With collaborative law training under her belt, Mary is an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, sharing her knowledge through a monthly live webinar on custody issues. To ensure families receive the dedicated support they deserve, she limits the number of custody cases she takes on, recognizing the additional time and energy these complex situations often require, whether working with children individually or engaging with families.
