MOVE! Weight Management Program

The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Copper Center, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen all Veterans who receive care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them to personalized weight management options that align with their individual preferences and needs. The program offers a variety of resources, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. Additionally, Veterans can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management or explore advanced options such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery if needed. We invite all interested Veterans to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward healthier living.
