Elders Program

The Elders Program in Chefornak, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our senior community members by providing comprehensive support services that address their basic needs. We offer a range of essential assistance, including caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment. Our program also features consumer-directed personal care assistant services and respite support, ensuring elderly independence and well-being. We prioritize safety through fall and injury prevention education, and we provide vital Medicare and Medicaid assistance. Additionally, our Retired Senior Volunteer Program invites seniors to engage with the community, and we foster connection through monthly elder food boxes, teas, and potlucks.
