Elders Program

The Elders Program in Big Lake, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through comprehensive assistance and support services. Our mission centers around providing essential resources such as caregiver training, case management, and durable medical equipment. We offer consumer-directed personal care assistant services and respite care to ensure seniors receive the help they need to thrive. Our initiatives also include fall and injury prevention education, Medicare and Medicaid assistance, and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Additionally, we promote community connection through our monthly Elder Food Boxes, engaging teas and potlucks, as well as transportation for seniors in the Anchorage area. By advocating for the needs of older adults and providing resource access support, we ensure that seniors in our community feel valued and empowered.
