Elders Program

APIA's Elders Program in Anchorage, AK is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through essential support services and resources. We focus on empowering our community's elders by offering a range of assistance, including caregiver training, case management, and durable medical equipment. Our program ensures seniors have access to consumer-directed personal care assistant services, respite services, and vital education on fall and injury prevention. Additionally, we provide Medicare and Medicaid assistance, engage volunteers through our Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and organize monthly elder food boxes as well as social gatherings like teas and potlucks.
