Greetings everyone! we are  coming up with a check-in for you all today with a bit of information below-

Sexism is a form of discrimination based on a person's gender, typically against women. It involves treating women unfairly or unequally due to their gender, often perpetuating stereotypes, violence and limiting opportunities . It is important to address sexism and empower women to fight against it.

I know in some countries, sexism against women is the norm. Especially in countries that is male-dominated. Women have no say in anything. Even in developed countries, women are still seen weaker than men. I think to break this societal norm, women need to educate themselves more and end up working in careers that are mostly done by men. To show them, what men can do, women can do it too, and even better.

But I think, this sexism matter will never be gone. As it has been passed done by generations, even when you read about history. Back then, sexism has already started.

@Jaeteuk true that maybe only proper awareness and education can bring an end to it someday?

I don't think it will end completely.. but it will help if people are more considerate of each other, see women and men more equally, awareness and education will help, but it is still up to the person themselves to accept and not take sides.

History and culture plays a role, so I think people in specific countries already have that idea engraved in their lives, and even if they are aware and educated, it won't change how they see women.

@AutisticYouth

At this point I don't even know if sexism "exists".

Data has apparently debunked this over and over.

I wonder how else one might explain what's happening.

In physics, two opposing truths can happen simultaneously.

So if sexism both exists and doesn't exist, what then?

I think it's up to each person to live their own life.

And to live moment by moment and without judgement.

I wish there could be more caring in the world sometimes.
