So, I'm new here

I'm Randy (39/m/hetero) and I'm here because I'm trying to "put myself out there" (I hate that phrase) and successfully get myself back in the dating game . It's been a very long dry spell and I'm worried about that coming up when asked. Also, things are very different to me now, so I don't feel like I know what's going on. I feel good about me, but I get a feeling as I learn about what people are doing and interested in, if it's not something I take an interest in already, I'm not going to get interested. So I'm seeking support, encouragement, and advice. Thank you.
