I am doing well for now. I am hoping to turn the dial down on my anxiety attacks when they occur. My family and I are all affected negatively when I lose functioning when stressed.
I'm doing better. Trying to navigate grief after losing my mom two weeks ago. Glad I am here and able to find support.

Hi
I am new to this but looking for support with perinatal depression. Am living in a country where it's not culturally appropriate to have such feelings during pregnancy. My partner has no idea how to support me and is taking everything personally so our r/ship is not going well. I feel i am a massive burden I feel i really need some CBT type techniques to retrain my negative thinking patterns. Any advice or non-judgemental comments would be so welcome right now.

I am new here but have joined a huddle, attended a listening circle, and posted a bit here and there. The expert path of behavior change was very, very helpful! I am working on some goals and new habits, and I came here to find support and a chance to give support to others. I am thankful for this community, and look forward to getting to know others (and myself!) better!

I have been feeling all sorts of confusion and feeling like I’m lost and not sure who I am. Am I the person I want to be or am I the person I’m afraid that I am. Some days it feels like I’m not doing enough for my loved ones and when I try to do things for them or try to help I end up feeling like I failed them. It feels like I don’t know anything anymore. But I want to try and better myself so I can help my loved ones better.

Aww that's such a thoughtful thing to hear, worrying about loved ones and being concerned of not being able to do much for them at times, can be super draining, I feel you with the self-questioning and self-doubt as well. For loved ones, every effort will cease to fall short, because we care and because we want to make ends meet, but the best part? We care and therefore we try. When we try, we can take a moment to pause and pat our own back for atleast trying, sometimes that's the most we can do, try, and sometimes that's more than enough, even if it doesn't feel that way. I'm proud of you for trying and doing your best. ❤ You deserve to be gentle and kind towards yourself as well, while figuring stuff out, and trying what you can!
