In the beginning
Hey! When I first started & Cups, I did not know much. As I countinued, I began to love the site more and more. I know know how to help others as well as myself.
I love seven cups of tea:)
I used to feel extremely awkward on this site, but now I feel good about being a listener. It took some time, but hey, it was worth it. :)
@Niknak003
I'm still trying to get the hang of everything as an intern and a listener. It can be a lot to handle but I'm really loving the impact we all make on people here :)
@GoldenSalamander60 Good for you! Hope you feel more at ease on this site soon! :D It is a lot to handle, but it is manageable.
This site has helped me so much
7 cups has been a wonderful addition to my life. I've always loved to listen but now I can be available to someone who needs to talk. There is such a wealth of information here to help me along on this journey, and so much human support. I am trying to find friends that will listen because it is such a good experience. Yay 7 cups!
I started out as a member as many others did. Soon after I realized I could use my story and what I have been through to help others. I love this site and all the good it is doing in people's lives!
Yes, I used to be very unsure of myself when I started out, very nervous to be a listener. Now I've grown more comfortable and sure of myself. I've learned a lot about people and how different the world really is. And even though the world is so different, people can be so similar when they're countries away. It's truly amazing to think about, and I love the idea of being able to help people.
when i first started i was like shaking and always getting peer support cause the chats sometimes scared me and i didnt udnerstand what was going on. but now that i been here for a few months i have learned to actually help other people and nothing really scares em any more except hosting discussions :P
@BLTmaster
I know what you mean BLT, I used to think if I turned to peer support, they would think I was a rubbish listener! I was totally wrong, because receiving peer support is building our foundations to become a better listener 😀 and equally offering support back👍
I started as a member and this site really helped me with many different problems, now i feel that I can help others the way people helped me :)
I've been here for a little while but still feel like I have a whole lot to learn. At times this website feels like a labyrinth
This is not a site. This is University.First online University
