A member of mine told someone on the bus about me in their country! and this person reached out to me on 7 cups, how amazing is that! Not only that this member shared some of my suggestions with this person on the bus. !! If you think you as a listener on 7 cups are not making a difference believe me you are. This is proof:)
@peacefulSoul8 Thank you SO MUCH for this wonderfully uplifting and inspiring story. It is an AWESOME story, and I love how you point out its meaning: That, at the end of the day, we can make a difference as listeners. Sometimes, that screen between us and the people we talk to makes it seem as if we are so helpless and as though the people we talk to are so far from us. But what we need to remind ourselves of is the power of a kind word in a dark hour. So thank you for this story! :)

I think about this sometimes. They could be on the other side of the world, thinking about you and your suggestions and sharing them like in your case. Half the time, you don't feel like you're helping someone but you are without realising (which I realised in my job). The help continues long after the chat.
