How i ended up on 7cups of tea
This thread is dedicated to having the first chat, starting with why you searched, created an account and you are still on. We all have a reason why we found 7cups, school, troubles, loneliness etc.... lets share how we all got here and when.
I struggle with depression, self harm, loneliness, and a bucket full of other things. I was having some painful thoughts one night so I started looking up random mental health sites that might help me, and I found 7 Cups. It's been working really well seeing others who struggle with the same things I do and finding healthy ways to be better. So yea I've been on 7 Cups for about a month now, but I just created this new account a few days ago.
@WavesofKei yaaay! I'm glad it helps you. And I'm very happy you found cups ❤
@WavesofKei i remember how i found it, almost similar, I was drowning with my own emotions and I didn't have anyone close to me to speak to, so I found myself in the internet looking for therapy, and I found it, talked to someone and felt much better and since then I decided to be there for other people.... anytime you need to talk you can always find me and leave a text.
@jaykes32 my carers set me up on this site. Just after I learned how to use the internet. I didn't know how to have a real conversation with people. And I was learning about real people and how the world works. So that's how I found cups through my carers
@Tinywhisper11 i am happy you found it, did it help you with learning about people? with your career ?
@jaykes32 yes this site has helped me learn in so many ways ❤ but I don't have a career. I live in a care home. Life has left me disabled. My health carers set me up on here not my career. I'm 22 years old and retired😎
@jaykes32 Now, this account is new and i'm a listener and a member haha! Well yes i do remember how i got here around 4 months ago when i was struggling with school and i needed someone to share my thoughts with...so i searched online for "sites where i could talk to someone" and found 7cups! it really helped me!
