What are reasons why people subscribe to each others feeds?

Okay, so this may sound like a weird question, because some reasons are pretty obvious:

- some people have made friends, and subscribe to each other
- some people post interesting contents, and you like to read it
- members may use it to 'bookmark' a listener they think they might talk to
- some people have taken on a role of watching people's feeds, and commenting on those

But what are reasons beyond this? Especially for listeners? Are there any rules that encourage listeners to subscribe to <fill the blank>?

@cloudySummer

Some of the reasons I do is to get interesting forum posting ideas or discussion ideas. I also like reading what others like to post.

@DanaMH So you can get a sense of what's going on in general, and you look for new topics. Thanks, Dana!

If I subscribe to someone's feed it's because they're already following me and I'm returning the favour.

@cloudySummer

I subscribe to people's feeds because it can be really helpful and uplifting! Also it gets you more involved with positive people and the community.
