Hello! Since I am new here and I have some questions about the Training and Certifications I thought that creating a new thread could be beneficial for people who have the same doubt as me. Here are some questions I have in mind, please feel free to ask whatever you have in mind about this topic.

*Referral Clicks: What are these and how can we obtain them?

*Star Rating: Does this refer to the number of stars you get after a 1 on 1 chat (0-5) or the number of times you have been given a rating?

*Positive Reviews: These are the feedback a member gives you? Does the star ratings have somthing to do with this?

*Forum Posts and Forum Upvotes: Why these are so important?

*Group Chats: How do I enter one and how does 7 cups counts your group chat activity? do you have to send a minimun of messages?

Thanks in advance,

Vendavale1

There's a 7 Cups Glossary that explains most of the terminology.

Also, I once wrote a longer explanation of how to Get referral clicks.

Your overall star rating seems to be sort of an average of your separate chat ratings, but I think the precise way the average is calculated is a secret.

Positive reviews are the written reviews, filtered so that only the positive ones appear. They don't have any formal connection with star ratings, although of course someone who gives you many stars is more likely to give you a positive written review at the same time.

Forum posts and upvotes are not really important. You don't have to participate in the forums if you don't want to. Interns, however, might have targets for these numbers. The rules for interns do not necessarily apply to the rest of us.

Group chats are listed in your chat list at the top left of your Listener Progress Path page. There's a tab at the left for the 1-on-1 Chat list, and a tab at the right for the Group Chat list. Yes, you have to send a certain number of messages for it to register in your statistics. I think it might be 5, but I'm not sure because I never participate in group chats.

Hey there! I understand the confusion you may experience upon joining. Don't worry, as we've all been in your shoes! We're here to help you understand and grow.

Referral Clicks: A referral click is when someone clicks on your referral link. Your referral link is anonymous, and directs to the homepage of this site. You can find your referral link on your My Impact page. A nice way of racking up referral clicks is through joining a Social Soldiers team. By doing so, you create a social media account dedicated to 7 Cups on Reddit, Tumblr, or Twitter, and reach-out to people who're struggling with your referral link in a comment.

Star Rating: This refers to the number of stars you get after a 1-on-1 chat (0-5). The number of times you have been given a rating will be displayed on your profile.

Positive Reviews: This is the feedback a member gives you. The star ratings do not affect this.

Forum Posts: They're not really important, but it just shows your community involvement. Each post you create, including threads and comments, will increase your number of forum posts.

Forum Upvotes: Similar to forum posts, these aren't really important, either, and just show your community involvement. The number increases per upvote you receive on a forum post.

Group Chats: You can enter a group chat by going to the My Conversations tab, and clicking the Group Chat icon next to 1-On-1. Group chats include, but are not limited to, Anxiety Support, Community Room, Depression Support, and LGBTQ+/MOGII Support. Listener group chats are not the same as group chats, as listener group chats will count toward Listener Group Chats, rather than Group Support Chats. To unlock the group chats, you must have at least 5 1-on-1 member conversations. Each 1-on-1 chat is 30 messages, from both you and the member. For example, 15 messages from you, and 15 messages from the member. You may view the listener group chats without this requirement. Your group chat activity is counted from your messages sent, so one group chat is 30 messages, similar to how in PM's.
