Are forum replies often slow

Hi, I noticed that there is not much action on threads people post for help. I notice 1 or 2 replies. Is 7 cups more of a one on one with a listener type of community more then forum? Just curious. I was hoping for more interaction but I wasn't ready for a listener yet. Thanks

Hey!

Unfortunately, the forums are quite quiet, though we are always trying to put life back into them! Most threads will receive a response at some point, but it may take a day or two here. If the help you need is quite urgent, then it's often best to try out the support chat rooms or speak to a listener, though I know you've said you didn't feel comfortable yet, which is perfectly fine. :) Hopefully your threads get a response soon! ♥

@adventurousCoconut5536 I think a lot of factors play into it, such as the subject (depends on if people have input or have knowledge on the subject), the time (if people are on or not and looking in the forums), the area of the forum (some areas are more active than others), etc...I think it's a bit of chance sometimes, some posts get many replies some only get a few. You could always try looking around to different subcommunities and seeing which ones seem more active, and posting in there (provided it's related, of course cheeky). I hope you can get some more responses and get a bit more comfortable with connecting :)

Thank you all. I will probably try out groups. :)
