Account Deletion Question

There's a button to like... temporarily close down but there's not one to delete for good. The site also logs your data and doesn't tell you and you have to switch it off in settings, which I don't like.

Or maybe it did mention it somewhere but this place is so hard to navigate and like, when you join in the middle of an emotional slump you're not exactly on the lookout for 'this site will collect your data for "research purposes" and I don't trust that.

Please let me leave.

Send an e-mail to community@7cups.com asking for your account to be deleted. The e-mail must come from the address you used to sign up, obviously. No one knows whether they really delete the account completely, but it's the best you can do.

They do claim under the ToS:

We believe that you own your data and preserving your access to your data is important. Upon request, we will delete your account, your forum posts, or both.

I hope they would follow through appropriately!
