Love is doing something for someone we care about.

I think love is something/someone that does not look at faults, but looks at the good inside of you
In a few words, Love is Acceptance.
I don't think it's possible to love without accepting first. ❤
Thought-provoking prompt, looking forward to see what everyone thinks also!
I'm new, so I may not be as wise as the rest of you, but I think what needs to be accepted should be defined. Yes, we should all accept the fact that we all have faults, and that none of us are perfect. However, if someone repeatedly demeans you, or cheats on you, or abuses you physically, mentally, or emotionally, there's no way in *** anyone could convince me that the person receiving the abuse needs to accept that behavior if they truly love the person, or as a way to show their love. I also don't believe a person would need to accept certain traits if those traits are detrimental to the other, such as if one is a pedophile, or abuses the elderly, beats children, thinks it's funny to degrade someone, is into [kinky or unnatural] sexual acts which go against the other's moral standards or hurts them emotionally, mentally, or physically, or if the person thinks it's fun or okay to harm animals (those are traits I would never accept). But you all catch my meaning, I'm sure.
That being said, I think love means being thoughtful of the one they love, and also being aware and mindful of what makes that person react in different ways: what makes them happy, angry, sad, etc. And the accompaniment to that is to MAKE CONSCIOUS EFFORTS to bring out the positive emotions and do whatever they can to prevent the negative ones. Or, if the emotion is already present, to encourage the positive and alleviate the negative ones.
Just my two cents. Thanks for reading.

I'm sorry, didn't catch the "one line" part. 😳😟
Please forgive the soap box.
Love means putting the other first always when it's warranted, and sometimes when it's not.

Exactly, love is accepting all their quirk and flaws.
Love is the essence of universe, root of all feelings.
Love is to be able love despite all.♥️
Love is to stay with your beloved even it pushes you away as a test. 🧡
