Well here I am in a place my wife has asked me to be for a long time. I am taking basic courses and hoping to build up confidence, but I am not sure. I am very uncomfortable talking in front of alot of people. I am afraid people will make fun of me and laugh at me.

Are you talking about school or 7Cups? It took me a long time to build up confidence in myself as well. I don’t like talking in front of groups either.
