Favourite Song lyrics!
Hello Lovelies!
Think of your most favourite song EVER!! and choose which lines from that really resonated with you and why. Any Language would do.
Send them here, so we can all know a little bit more about each other :)
Here's mine: (Song: Jab koi Baat Bigad Jaye, Language: Hindi)
Ho chaandni jabtak raat,
Deta hai har koi saath,
Tum magar andheron mein,
Na Chhodna mera haath.
Translation:
As long as the moon shines at night,
Everyone is on your side,
But when the night is dark, I don't want you
to let go of my hand.
I really love these lines, cliche as they sound, because I've always struggled with maintaining relationships and I always dreamed of making a friend or two I could always rely on.
Offspring - staring at the sun
When I escaped I didn't feel like I got away
There's more to living than only surviving
Maybe I'm not there, but I'm still trying
I don't think that you relate
My will is something
That you can't confiscate
So forgive me, but I won't be frustrated
By destruction in your eyes
As you're staring at the sun"
@MountainClarity
This song is amazing. I discovered the Offspring just a couple of weeks ago and I've been listening to it every day. Staring at the sun is my favourite song, the only bad thing about it is that it doesn't last long.

Somebody wants you, somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you every single night
Somebody can't breathe, without you it's lonely
Somebody hopes that one day you will see
That somebody's me
That somebody's me
title: somebody's me by Enrique Iglesias.
Basically the entire lyrics to "You're Only Human (Second Wind)" by Billy Joel.
Devoid of context or explanation:
"Like a Wild Fox looking for a Sasuke"
I love music so much.
Umm... I love the Lyrics of A song named, All of me By John legend :'))))
@ElysianAesthetic23
I love that song! Great taste
@ElysianAesthetic23...Wow!! love that too..same pinch
The Lyrics to ‘Wish you were here’ by Pink Floyd, especially “...and did you exchange, a walk on part in the war, for a lead role in a cage”
Find myself thinking of it often.
"we're all gonna di3/ maybe we could live/ maybe we could make the world worse than it is" from dreams come true by black dresses. it's just so acceptingly nihlistic.
Tear me apart, and boil my bones
I'll not rest 'til she's lost her throne
My aim is true, my message is clear
It's curtains for you, Elizabeth my dear
(To the tune of Scarborough Fair)
This song is thoroughly tongue in cheek. if you're not English then you might not get the humour, or the references to Madchester. Look it up though. It will open up a whole new musical world.

song: fly to my room, by bts
"sometimes we get to know, broken is beautiful"
it's a new song but already has a special place in my heart. these words made me feel valid.
and "Because the dawn right before the sun rises is the darkest" (song: tomorrow)
this song is full of hope and positive vibes that gets u going. love listening to these two daily
First thing we'd climb a tree
And maybe then we'd talk
Or sit silently
And listen to our thoughts
With illusions of someday
Cast in a golden light
No dress rehearsal
This is our life.
