Some advice please ?

I want to better myself and improve and I have been working on it but Im seeing no results thus far .

This is demotivating me a lot and I just want to quit .

Can anyone advise me on how to stay motivated even if I'm failing consistently .

To stay motivated you must stay concistant. Even when you don't feel like it. Changing something or doing something different is a changed behaviour and that means changing your old habits. Once your body gets use to the concistancy it then will become easier. Stay at it and don't give up. If change and improvement was easy everyone would be doing it. Don't stop untill you get to the goal you want, then set new goals and do the same. Leaving your comfort zone it never comfortable, so we need to just learn how to be uncomfortable.  Good luck

Dont worry, I did not notice.

Your welcome and it's perfectly normal to feel unmotivated, everyone who moves out of their comfort zone has difficulty at some point, but just so you know the ones who reach their goals are the ones who never gave up even on the days the wanted to. 😉

@pluckyStrings9318 bettering yourself is a good goal. But depending on what in particular your goal is and the expectations you have you may have to work at it differently or longer or adjust your expectations.

The biggest congratulations and award and recognition and rewards for working on yourself and choosing more this is absolutely wonderful!

*Much celebratory parade*

It sure is hard to keep going when results don't show but it's much harder to give up on the self completely, especially after such a big step!

In my life I've made tons of "new beginnings" where I couldn't see results then hoovered cookies or something very bad.

But this doesn't mean you're starting back at zero, ever! Because you made some steps already and so now know more than you did!

Even if it doesn't seem like anything useful or meaningful was learned, that's a temporary state and passes like a cloud over the sun.

One can even become used to and tolerate these moments of being in the shade because with time and patience it becomes familiar.

Learning to see the ups and downs in a more level-headed way without being swept away happens if you just keep going 😭💕🙏❣️

Every effort made especially when combined with self care like tools, skills, routines and rituals, builds strength, courage and wisdom.

I hope that made sense

I hear you and am right there with you. I struggle daily with trying to self-improve and see very little progress. Every time I feel like I make a step forward, something in life happens and sets me back so far I have a hard time recovering. I have ADHD along with depression and anxiety, and I found a very helpful tool for getting motivated. It’s worth a try even if you don’t have ADHD. It’s called the “Anti-planner” and is on Amazon. Tons of creative ideas to get you moving on anything even when you feel like you just can’t. I found it very helpful especially in my lowest moments. I totally understand the feeling of failing; it’s a daily struggle. Hang in there and don’t give up.
