I think my working definition of love is something that is a feeling so great it can even be overconsuming. Love is what I feel when I see a friend who is thriving. Love is what I feel when I am able to share my own opinion. Love is what I feel when I get to travel to a new place and my heart just fills up. I think love has so many different meanings because it is ever flowing and ever changing. Overall, it is unlike anything else in this world. It is what guides my own life and decisions.

@politeSong7023 thats a good question and one I've not tried to put words to 😊 For me, it is that feeling of being safe, safe in the knowledge of being loved but loved as you are. Freely you. It is that feeling of seeing a family member succeed, of seeing a friend thrive, that moment when your world is crumbling around you and you spot a familiar face and it just eases your pain. It is being with someone through the good, the bad and the boring/routine things and still wanting to do it with them 😊
If you are a person of science, you see how like charges repel each other and unlike charges attract each other. Both of the cases are love. How one entity can be influenced by other. It's a fundamental property of the universe. @politeSong7023
I have been thinking about this for a while now, and I don’t really know that there is a definitive answer. Because, there are different types of love. Overall, though, I think that it is a matter of liking someone first. You cannot love people you do not like. Any claims outside of that is just control.
@politeSong7023 I think my definition of love would be something that is so raw, full of emotion and vulnerability. It's like taking a chance skydiving knowing there's a chance that it could go wrong, but you still do it anyways just for the thrill hoping that it leads to something amazing afterwards.
Nothing but a pain
Love is kind selfless and does not envy. It’s the almost form of devotion for another human. If it hurts then it’s not love. It lets you live laugh and be happy. It gives you power. It’s so beautiful.
For me... I have learned that it can be defined by so many positive factors. I've experienced so many instances that were only disguised as love but were obviously not.
Now all I seek is safety, comfort, reassurance and compassion embodied in unconditional companionship. That's what I feel it truly is now. It's rare but it's out there and you'll never have to beg for any of it from your person.
For me love it's a beautiful feeling. Which makes me feel safe , makes me more strong, and help me to be myself without worrying abt what they're thinking. Love which should be full of positive energy , which will make you stay positive in your worse phase of life also.
