I’m new here
Hello everyone,
My name is Kelly and I’m new to 7cups as well as the idea of therapy. I’m a survivor of childhood trauma including sexual abuse. I had some adverse experiences in therapy when I was much younger so I chalked it up as being not for me.
As I’ve gotten older I’ve thought this was not a good decision as I suffer from both depression and anxiety. I also have panic attacks from time to time.
I’m hoping that being here will help me learn more about healing myself. I also need to learn how to forgive myself and others.

Welcome and thank you for being brave by sharing some of your story. I highly recommend checking out the forums (especially the resource tabs), the path guides, talking with free listeners when you're comfortable and group chats. There are a lot of great resources here and I believe you won't be disappointed.
