Future thoughts suck

Astro09 11 hours ago

Tbh this is kind of a night routine of mine now 😭 I just go into this App and write about my Thoughts, because many People here share a similar Story. Again, my english/Grammar whatever won't be perfect‼️

Talking about the Future my mind immediately becomes a huge, white and cloudy blank space. Why? I don't see myself getting old. I don't see myself dying from old age. I just don't see myself becoming an adult-

Now, I never understood People that wanted to live until they are like 80. I mean, if you have a happy life.. why not? But when you are all alone, too anxious to talk to people (I don't even want to look at the replies to my threads, I get more nervous than a giraffe on a tree) why would you wanna turn 30-80 when your life has nothing to offer?

Also I don't directly talk about suicide at a young age. I just don't see myself existing in a few years.

@Astro09 hi sweetie, that was hard to read 😥 I'm sure many people here feel like that alot. The thing is we can't change the past, we can only predict the future, but what's here right now, that's what counts ❤ I know it's hard, life itself is hard. But I wish you for you, is one day things will be better ❤ hugs you tightly ❤

@Astro09 I can relate to this as i have gone through this. However will thinking about your future help you because we do not know future. Why don't you think about tomorrow what are you planning to do, this is taking one step at a time. No need to wonder how people live till 80, we don't know what future holds. Think about what you want to achieve till your next birthday.

life is a journey, the route the people you take decides how your life journey is going to be. Notice small things around you, whatever makes you happy or even distract you from your overthinking.

In night time to avoid these thoughts maybe meditate, read or write a journal about your day. This will help you lower or future thinking anxiety.
